The project involved the deployment and configuration of a data backup and storage system, commencing with a comprehensive site survey to assess requirements and readiness. The scope included the delivery of the DLO server to UEGCL, followed by the installation of a 2MW electricity backup system to ensure uninterrupted operations. Infrastructure setup works included the arrangement of two consecutive rack spaces, provision of a 16Amp power connection for the DLO server, and ensuring consistent power availability within the rack environment. The installation phase covered all necessary power and network cabling, as well as the configuration of the network to support system integration. The Veritas Desktop and Laptop Option (DLO) software was installed and configured, including the creation of automated user assignments and customization of user profiles to meet operational needs. Desktop agents were then deployed across user computers, followed by thorough testing of the system configuration. The project was successfully completed with the system going live for automated backups, alongside ongoing performance monitoring to ensure reliability and efficiency.
